Johannes Ebert

Somatic Bodywork & De-Armouring in Berlin

My name is Johannes – a practitioner, guide, and bodyworker grounded in direct experience, honest connection, and a deep trust in the body.

My work invites you back to your body – to listen, to feel, and to remember.

Through presence, something quiet returns: breath, clarity, and the truth that has always lived beneath the surface.

My Approach

I work with a unique blend of presence-based practices, holistic bodywork and intuitive guidance.

At the heart of my work lies The Gaia Method – a trauma-informed approach to De-Armouring through soft touch. Rooted in the principles of safety, presence, and deep listening, this method works directly with the nervous system to invite release, restore connection, and awaken the body’s natural intelligence.

Developed by Susanne Roursgaard and shaped by years of experience in somatics, trauma healing, and sacred touch, The Gaia Method combines gentle physical contact with energetic awareness. It’s not about force or fixing — it’s about meeting the body exactly as it is, and allowing it to soften on its own terms.

Through this practice, I support people in unravelling chronic tension, releasing emotional blockages, and coming back into contact with something essential: the felt experience of being alive, safe, and whole.

I combine this with a diverse foundation in human development, relational intelligence, and embodied leadership:

The Gaia Method – Practitioner & Assisting in the Team – a deep somatic approach to soft-touch de-Armouring, working with trauma, nervous system regulation, and energetic presence. This method shaped the way I touch, listen, and meet the body – with softness, trust, and attunement.

Certified Systemic Coaching (12-month training at VfTC) – tools to work with patterns, inner parts, and systemic dynamics in personal growth.

Leadership Training at Circling Europe – deep training in presence, interpersonal truth, and holding transformational group spaces.

Leadership Training & Train the Trainer – internal leadership development focused on communication, team development, and mentoring within corporate structures.

Knowmads Business School – an alternative entrepreneurial learning community focused on purpose-driven, creative project design and self development.

ART International (Level 1 & 2) – ongoing training in relational embodiment and global transformation (to be completed July 2025).

I don’t offer a space that’s safe in the sense of being controlled or free of discomfort.

I offer a judgment-free “Schutzraum – a protected space where you are welcome as you are. A space where falling, exploring, and getting it wrong are part of the process. And if you fall, I’ll be there — steady, present, and with you — as you rise again.

Because healing begins when you find safety within yourself — without needing the world around you to feel safe first. That’s the shift. From relying on the outside to trusting what’s alive and steady inside.

My Story

I’ve walked many paths – from hospitality leadership to tech brand management – and consciously stepped into the healing arts after a life-changing sabbatical in Amsterdam.

In June 2023, I founded Johannes Ebert Bodywork to bring my experience together into one clear intention: helping people reconnect with their body and inner truth.

I now guide sessions and group work that invite softness, presence, and honest reflection.

Through The Gaia Method, I finally found something that fit. A practice that didn’t require me to push or perform — just to be present, attuned, and real.

It was a big exhale and feeling deep gratitude to call this a craft.

For the first time, my sensitivity wasn’t too much — it was useful. It became the doorway to connection. I felt like a beginner again, and it felt right. Like being a student of something much bigger, in service to something beyond myself.

This work isn’t something I do. It’s something I listen to. It changes me too — every session, every person, every breath that softens in my hands.
